ferax® Sanitär-Silikon
ferax® Sanitär-Silikon is a high-quality, ready-to-use one-component silicone sealant (acetate system) and has been developed especially for use in wet rooms such as bathrooms etc. ferax® Sanitär-Silikon is used in particular for connecting seals to bathtubs, wash basins, shower cabins; for expansion and connecting joints in ceramic wall and floor tiles and to seal sanitation installations.
ferax® Sanitär-Silikon adheres to all customary building materials used in sanitation areas e.g. anodized aluminium, glazed tiles, glass, tiles, many synthetic materials, porcelain, etc.
ferax® Sanitär-Silikon contains fungicide and bactericide agents to counter the effects of micro-organisms.Because of its particular viscosity, ferax® Sanitär-Silikon is extremely practical in use and is characterized by good smoothing and modelling properties. To support the anti-mildew properties it is recommended that the joint surfaces and adjoining surfaces are kept clean with cleaning and disinfecting agents.
